TERMS OF SERVICE, IP DISCLAIMER & AFTER-SALES POLICY

Welcome to Acme Collections. By accessing, browsing, or placing an order on Acme Collections (the "Store", "we", "us", or "our"), you explicitly understand, acknowledge, and agree to the legal terms, intellectual property disclosures, and store policies set forth below.

1. Independent Retailer & Non-Affiliation Status

Acme Collections operates as an independent specialized collectible retailer, secondary-market consignment agency, and procurement service. Unless expressly documented otherwise:

  • Acme Collections is NOT an official subsidiary, authorized corporate distributor, or affiliated franchise of Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd., Sideshow Collectibles, XM Studios, or major media copyright owners including Warner Bros. Discovery, DC Comics, Marvel Entertainment, Toei Animation, or Shueisha Inc.
  • All character names, media franchises, studio logos, and registered trademarks displayed on this site are the exclusive property of their respective trademark holders.

2. Product Categorization & Intellectual Property Notice

  • Licensed Official Statues: Products categorized under licensed lines (e.g., Prime 1 Studio) are guaranteed 100% authentic, lawful parallel imports or verified secondary-market stock protected under the First Sale Doctrine / Doctrine of Exhaustion. Trademark references are utilized solely for Nominative Fair Use to accurately describe the genuine product origin.
  • Custom & Independent Studio Resin Statues (GK): Items designated as custom, independent, or garage kit (GK) series are fan-art artistic sculptures and independent prototypes handcrafted by non-affiliated workshops for private artistic appreciation. Acme Collections functions solely as a cross-border procurement, quality inspection, and facilitation bridge between private hobbyists and independent creative studios.

3. Promotional Mockups, Prototypes & Production Tolerances

All display photography, digital renders, and prototypes used for pre-order announcements are provided by manufacturing workshops for reference. Due to the handcrafted nature of resin statues (including mold-casting, manual assembly, and airbrushing), minor paint variations, seam lines, peg friction adjustments, or box cosmetic revisions within reasonable industry tolerances are standard and shall not be classified as manufacturing defects.

4. Pre-Order Allocation & Non-Refundable Deposit (NRD)

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: All pre-order deposits are immediately committed to manufacturing studios to secure allocation quotas and raw material purchases. Deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, except in the event of an official, permanent project cancellation confirmed by the studio.
  • Production Timelines (ETA): Estimated delivery dates are non-binding timelines provided by studios. Production delays, casting refinements, and international shipping queue adjustments are industry-wide occurrences and do not entitle buyers to unilateral order cancellations or chargebacks.

5. Final Sale & Mandatory Direct Resolution Protocol (No Standard Returns)

ALL SALES ON ACME COLLECTIONS ARE STRICTLY FINAL. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES FOR ANY REASON.

Buyers agree to follow our mandatory after-sales resolution procedure rather than filing external financial disputes:

  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: To qualify for any damage claim, customers must submit an uninterrupted, continuous video recording starting from the fully sealed outer shipping container through complete component unpacking within 48 hours of carrier-confirmed delivery. Claims without verifiable unboxing video footage cannot be honored.
  • Resolution Hierarchy:
    1. Minor Detachments / Surface Imperfections: Minor breaks or dislodged pegs that can be cleanly resolved using standard hobby adhesives (e.g., cyanoacrylate glue) are customary within the garage kit hobby. Acme Collections will provide technical guidance and/or partial store credit vouchers.
    2. Structural Fractures / Missing Components: Acme Collections will coordinate directly with the studio to obtain and dispatch free replacement parts.
    3. Catastrophic / Irreparable Destruction: In verified cases where replacement parts cannot resolve the issue, buyers must complete photographic proof of component destruction as instructed by our team. Acme Collections will then process an agreed partial or full direct store refund via the original transaction gateway.
  • Notice on Unauthorized Disputes: Initiating external financial disputes, chargebacks, or claims without prior bilateral communication will result in the immediate and permanent termination of the customer's account and the forfeiture of all active pre-order allocations.
